Ahmee Ceramics is a creative collaboration between Amee Hussey and Magaly Del Castillo.

Our story begins long before Stonington. Amee was adopted from South Korea as a baby, carrying a heritage she continues to explore and honor. Magaly grew up in Peru until the age of fourteen, shaped by its colors, textures, and traditions. It was here, in this small seaside town, that our paths crossed, and where two very different journeys found a common love for ceramics.

We specialize in dinnerware, lighting, and other tactile objects for everyday living.

Amee is self-taught, continuing to learn with every pound of clay she shapes. Each piece is formed by hand or on the potter's wheel, aiming for balance between form and function within a harmonious design aesthetic.

Magaly is passionate about design and storytelling, using both to shape Ahmee Ceramics' visual narrative while collaborating with local artisans and small businesses.
